I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve harbored resentment towards my brother because of his psoriasis. I felt embarrassed by his condition, thinking it brought shame to our family. I even went so far as to deny knowing him when my teacher inquired about my family who studied in the same school. I was afraid of the stigma and judged him harshly for something he couldn’t control. Now, I regret my actions deeply. We’ve not spoken ever since I moved out 7 years ago.
